In addition to the disclosure of the names of sponsors on this website, the team makes banners (displayed in competitions and in the lab), T-shirts and stickers for the robots.

In 2006, the ThundeRatz team attended the ISA SHOW event that has brought together several companies of the automation and instrumentation industry.

In this congress, the Robot War built the battle arena, where there were several demonstrations of control, agility, and destruction by the robot teams.

Besides the newspapers that are restricted to places where the events are accomplished, several state newspapers also report matters concerning the Robots Competition.

Folha de São Paulo and Estado de São Paulo (O Estadão) have already published several reports and covered the events.

Some of those reports can be seen in Folha's website, including one held this year and another of 2006.

Every year, magazines in the area of automation and technology publish articles and interviews with the teams participating in the Competitions.

The Mecatrônica Fácil Magazine Ed. 24 wrote:

"No último dia de julho passado, tivemos em Campos do Jordão mais uma edição do evento 'Guerra de Robôs' - Winter Challenge 2005. Trata-se de um evento imperdível mesmo para aqueles que não têm fascínio em relação a Mecatrônica. É interessante sentir as crianças e familiares torcendo por seus parentes e amigos, geralmente estudantes de Engenharia e criadores dos robôs, cujos protótipos estão na arena se digladiando em busca da vitória."

Several television networks have covered and conducted stories in previous events, such as reports on Jornal Globo, Jornal Nacional (Rede Globo), RedeTV News, Olhar Digital program (Rede TV), Tribuna na TV and Domingo Legal (Rede SBT), Vida Loca (Multishow) and Jornal da Band (Rede Bandeirantes).
